you know, i'm sure you already know this, but a good photographer can take good photos on the crappiest cameras, but a bad photographer will still take bad photos on the most expensive cameras - your photos are good. so stick with your existing Lumix because spending thousands of dollars on an expensive SLR camera will definitely still wield the same result

Uhm... It will take some time though, It doesn't have manual focus, which is sad. But I'll manage, I think.
